Mario Balotelli Close to Signing a Deal With the Italian Club Brescia

Rumors connected Mario Balotelli with several clubs during this summer’s transfer season but until now, there was no certain information concerning his fate. The only confirmed information was that the Brazilian club Flamengo has made an official offer to the player, but media disclosed that Balotelli rejected their offer. 

Now, sports media are reporting that the 29-year-old forward is close to signing a deal with the Italian Serie A club Brescia. The club has been targeting the player for a long time and they have been trying to start negotiations. Now they have the negotiations under way and they will be concluded soon. Brescia are currently negotiating the last portions of the contract and it’s expected that Balotelli will be joining the club before the end of this week.  

Balotelli has had a turbulent career so far and has played for some of the biggest European football clubs. The forward started his career in 2006, playing for Lumezzane’s senior team which was the club he played in before his youth career. From there, he went on to play in Inter Milan, Manchester City, AC Milan, Liverpool, Nice and finally he joined Marseille earlier this year.
