The Dallas Mavericks have announced that head coach Jason Kidd has finalized his coaching staff lineup heading into the new season.

Igor Kokoskov arrives to the team as an assistant coach, after serving as head coach of Turkish side Fenerbahce. Under Kokoskov, Fernebahce achieved a 22-8 Turkish League record along with a 20-16 record in the EuroLeague. Upon joining the Mavericks, Kokoskov will become the first non-American to assume the role of full-time assistant coach in the NBA.

Joining Kokoskov as an assistant coach is Jared Dudley, who is making his transition to coaching after leading a 14-season NBA career. Dudley played the last two seasons with the LA Lakers, with whom he won the NBA Championship in 2020. During his playing career, Dudley averaged 7.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 22.3 minutes over 904 league appearances.

Another pro baller who will be joining the Mavs’ coaching team is WNBA star Kristi Toliver, who served as assistant coach to the Washington Wizards for the past two seasons while playing for the Washington Mystics simultaneously. Over her 12 year WNBA career, Toliver has played over 350 games. This season, she is averaging 9.7 points, 1.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 18 games for the Sparks.
