]]>According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Jordan’s extension is worth $52.5 million with $42 million guaranteed. He will have the opportunity to earn extra $3 million in incentives on top of that.
Jordan is set to earn $9.1 million in 2019 and $9.9 million in 2020 according to his old contract which he signed in 2015.
“My goal is to win a Super Bowl here. Then my goal will be to win another Super Bowl. I’ve always said that New Orleans has become my home,” – Jordan told reporters on Tuesday. “My kids are in New Orleans. I’ll be in New Orleans ’til they decide they don’t want me no more. … My dad [Steve Jordan] played for the Vikings for 13 years. I always said I want to be with the same team for the rest of my career.”
He also shared a statement on social media.
Cameron Jordan was drafted 24th overall in 2011 and has since played every regular season game for the Saints. During his time in the league, Jordan made four Pro Bowl appearances while also First-team All-Pro honors in 2017.
Jordan’s career stats include 410 total tackles, 71.5 sacks, 10 forced fumbles, two interceptions and one defensive touchdown.
