]]>Javier arrived in West Ham on July 24th, 2017 on a three-year contract from Bayer Leverkusen for a fee of around $16 million. In his time in West Ham, Chicharito played 55 games and scored 16 goals, leaving the fans disappointed after losing his previous form from Leverkusen, Real Madrid, and Manchester United.
Chicharito was signed by Manchester United in 2010 from Guadalajara, after scoring 26 goals in 63 matches. At Old Trafford, Javier played 103 matches in all competitions and scored 37 goals, winning back-to-back Premier League titles (2010-2011 and 2011-2012) and the FA Community Shield.
After 4 years in Manchester, Hernandez was sent to Real Madrid on a season-long loan with a buy-out option which Real Madrid did not use after the loan contract ended, sending him back to Manchester. He later played for Leverkusen before returning to England once again.
