Despite a disappointing stint with the Baltimore Ravens in 2020, veteran wideout Dez Bryant isn’t thinking about retirement. Instead, the three-time Pro Bowler wants to play two more years before calling it quits. Bryant revealed his plans while engaging with one fan on social media.

“Do you have plans to play again next season? Really hope so,” wrote user @BAraripe. Bryant then responded: “I plan on playing 2 more years, and that’s it for me.”

In a series of other tweets, Bryant also indicated that he will not be back with the Ravens, writing that he realizes “Baltimore wasn’t the place for me.”

The 32-year-old star played six games with the Ravens in 2020, managing only six receptions for 47 yards and two touchdowns. He previously sat out two years, having dealt with an Achilles injury.

Baltimore probably wasn’t planning on bringing back Dez Bryant either, as they are expected to address their wide receiver needs in the draft and through free agency.

Bryant, on the other hand, will probably receive interest from other teams if he remains healthy. Despite losing some of the explosiveness he had earlier in his career, he still has steady hands and probably can carve a backup role somewhere.

Bryant spent most of his career with the Dallas Cowboys, where he had 531 catches for 7,459 yards and 73 TDs in eight years. He still holds several franchise records, including the one for receiving touchdowns.

Veteran wideout Dez Bryant is continuing to plot his NFL comeback. This time, he’ll try to convince Baltimore Ravens to give him a shot to play football for the first time since 2017.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports that Bryant is expected to visit Baltimore Ravens this week and have a workout in hopes of landing a contract.

The 31-year-old player missed the previous two seasons with torn Achilles tendon but is now in shape and motivated, according to Pelissero.

Ravens are on the market for a wide receiver, looking to pair a veteran wideout with 2019’s first-round pick Marquise Brown and rookie Devin Duvernay. The organization considered several names, but the choice hasn’t been so great on the free market. This is probably one of the reasons why they are willing to take a gamble on Bryant.

Dez Bryant spent the first eight years of his career with Dallas Cowboys, who took him 24th overall in 2010. During his time with the franchise, he earned three Pro Bowl selections while becoming Cowboys’ all-time leader in receiving touchdowns with 73.

Dallas released Bryant during the 2018 offseason as part of moves to cut their costs. He eventually signed with New Orleans Saints later that year but failed to play a single game due to injury.

Former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is looking to get back to NFL. Bryant, who spent a year recovering from torn Achilles tendon, announced on Wednesday that he will soon reach out to teams in order to see if there is an interest in his services.

Bryant wrote on Twitter that he doesn’t expect to be a starter with his new team, but looks to “contribute.” He also added that he’s “feeling good” considering his injury issues.

Bryant hasn’t played an NFL game since 2017 season with Cowboys. After Dallas released him in early 2018, the veteran WR took his time to find a new team before signing with New Orleans Saints in Week 10. However, before he had a chance to step on the field, he ended up tearing his Achilles tendon during practice.

Dez Bryant spent the first eight years of his career with Dallas Cowboys, who took him 24th overall in the 2010 draft. During his time with the organization, Bryant made three Pro Bowls while earning First-team All-Pro and leading the league in touchdowns in 2014.

Bryant’s NFL career stats include 531 receptions for 7,459 yards and 73 TDs.

After spending the first half of 2018 season as a free agent, former Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowl wide receiver Dez Bryant finally has a new team. After working out with the New Orleans Saints earlier in the week, Bryant has agreed to a one year deal with the organization.

According to ESPN‘s Adam Schefter, Dez Bryant’s base salary of $1.25 million will be prorated to $600,000 for the rest of the season, while he will be able to earn $500,000 in incentives. Bryant decided to accept this low figure because he wanted to play for a contender and prove his value in order to get a bigger contract next year.

Dez Bryant spent first eight years of his NFL career in Dallas, earning three Pro Bowl selections and establishing himself as one of the league’s most talented WRs. Still, his production dropped in the last couple of years, which alongside several other off-field issues, caused the Cowboys to release him in the offseason.

Bryant played a total of 113 NFL games, and has 531 career catches for 7,459 yards and 73 touchdowns.

After signing Bryant, the Saints places WR Cameron Meredith on injured reserve after the 26-year-old decided to undergo an arthroscopic procedure on his knee. Meredith, who signed two-year, $9.5 million contract with New Orleans in the offseason, had nine catches for 114 yards and one touchdown this season.

Former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is still without a team although we are nearing the start of the regular season. Bryant now decided to do something about it and will start visiting interested teams next week. The first on his list? Cleveland Browns.

The Browns expressed interest in signing the 29-year-old Pro Bowler in July after their starting wide receiver Josh Gordon left the team to focus on his health. Then the team’s general manager John Dorsey told reporters before the preseason game against the New York Giants that he tried to call the player, but Dez Bryant didn’t return his calls.

“He won’t return any phone calls,” – said Dorsey. “… Maybe he’s still thinking about other stuff.”

It looks like Bryant wouldn’t mind playing in Cleveland after all. After Dorsey’s comments, Bryant went on Twitter, writing that he “wouldn’t mind playing for the Browns.”

After spending eight years with the Cowboys, Dez Bryant was released by the team in April. Several teams became interested immediately, with Baltimore Ravens striking first and offering the player a multi-year deal. Still, Bryant decided to refuse the offer, wanting to sign a one-year contract and prove his worth in 2018 so he could ask for a more lucrative paycheck next summer.

At the start of his free agency, Bryant reportedly only wanted to sign for a contender. But considering the fact that there is a surprising lack of interest for his services by league’s top teams, now the struggling Browns might be a good fit. This is of course if he can handle not being the first receiving option anymore.
