“We know we are going to be without Steph for the foreseeable future, so same thing as what happened the last time he went down … we patch things together,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said with regard to Curry’s absence. “The guys strung together a five-game winning streak. Curry added that he’s letting the negotiations “play out the way they should”, but reiterated that he wants to be a Warrior for life.

The 32-year-old sharpshooter inked his last deal back in 2017, signing a maximum five-year, $201 million contract with the Warriors. If the organization decides to offer him another extension before the 2020-21 season starts, Curry would be eligible to get three more years and $156 million.
