There are two major reasons why we love and use self-deprecating humor all the time. Firstly, it is easier to make a joke on yourself because you are not offending anyone, and secondly, it shows the other people that you don’t carry your ego everywhere and can laugh at yourself every now and then.
While there is no denying that this user has definitely earned the “outstanding move” title, we are assuming that it’s probably an act, just for the sake of the joke. The poor guy probably does not actually hate himself.

We already talked about this. Cats are very rebellious in nature, and most probably they don’t like to be disrespected as well. If you are getting a cat as your pet, then you have to put up with their behaviors or at least don’t discipline them by pointing your finger on them.
