One of the most controversial and colorful NFL stars of the past decade is hanging up his cleats after announcing his retirement in an Instagram post on Friday.
Jones, the 6th overall pick in the 2005 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans, spent the majority of his career with the Cincinnati Bengals. The cornerback made headlines both for his play on the field and for his behavior off of it.
He spent the 2018 season with the Denver Broncos, playing sparingly and only appearing in 7 games.
The Atlanta native spent the first two seasons of his career with the Tennessee Titans before being suspended by Roger Goodell for the 2007 season after a violent incident at a nightclub.
Jones then went to Cincinnati after a short stint with the Dallas Cowboys, where he began to get in trouble less and perform well on the field. Pacman was named a 2014 First Team All-Pro selection and was also selected to participate in the 2016 Pro Bowl.
The brash cornerback missed two entire seasons in his career due to legal troubles.
