Paulo Dybala was definitely one of the most talkedabout soccer players during this summer transfer window and now just few days after the end of the season, things have taken a sudden turn. In the previous several weeks, Manchester United seemed like they were closest to signing the player, offering a swap with their player Romelu Lukaku. But the negotiation process collapsed because the club couldn’t meet the wage demands of Dybala.

Now, media are reporting that the Argentinian is very close to signing a deal with the British Premier League club Tottenham. The Hotspurs have offered a stunning 78 million dollars for Dybala and his current club Juventus has reportedly accepted. After this, Tottenham has to sit down with the 25-year-old player and settle his personal demands. If this goes through, the young forward will be moving to north London just a few days before the start of the Premier League.

Dybala started his professional career back in 2011, playing for the Argentinian club Instituto from where he was acquired by the Italian club Palermo just a year later. He stayed in Palermo until 2015 when he joined his current club Juventus.
