]]>Mandzukic joined Al-Duhail in January from Seria A giants Juventus, becoming one of the club’s biggest signings in history. However, the 34-year-old didn’t fit well with his new team and only managed to score twice in 10 games.
“I appreciate the trust and hospitality that I have received in Qatar, and I wish the best to the club and the team in the future,” said Mandzukic.
According to reports, Mario Mandzukic could now return to Italy, where new Seria A member Benevento and AC Milan are interested in his services. There is also talk that Mandzukic could end in Turkey as well, with Galatasaray and Fenerbahce mentioned as his potential destinations.
Mandzukic played with several top European clubs, including Wolfsburg, Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, and Juventus. He saw his biggest success with Bayern, winning two domestic titles and one UEFA Champions League trophy, and Juve, where he won four consecutive Seria A titles.

]]>Juventus reportedly wants to get rid of Mandzukic at all costs, and it is believed they would be willing to accept an offer as low as $11 million. The 33-year-old himself is also motivated to leave Italy, as he is yet to make an appearance this season.
If everything turns out as planned, Mandzukic is expected to sign a deal until the summer of 2021. He would reportedly earn $5.5 million annually.
There was a lot of interest in Mario Mandzukic’s services over the summer, but he opted to remain with Seria A giants. It turned out to be a mistake, as Juve’s new boss isn’t a fan of his playing style. When it became obvious that his time in Italy is finished, Mandzukic started drawing interest from several clubs from China and the Middle East as well as MLS powerhouse LAFC. Still, he turned down all of those offers in favor of remaining in Europe.
Mandzukic is expected to add a badly needed boost to Manchester United’s attack, which struggled to get goals so far in the season. United only scored nine goals in eight matches of the Premier League so far, while claiming just two wins in the process.
