]]>Sky Sports recently reported that Inter Milan is interested in Ndombele, and would like to bring the French midfielder to Italy. But Seria A failed to get the negotiations off the ground, as Tottenham holds a firm stance that he isn’t for sale.
Ndombele’s future in London looked bleak in recent months, as the player grew unhappy with the way he has been treated by manager Jose Mourinho. At one point, the 23-year-old player said that he won’t play under Portuguese anymore.
Still, it appears that neither Tottenham nor Mourinho are willing to give up on a player that became the club’s most expensive signing when he joined from Lyon for $73 million last summer.
“Every player is part of my plans,” recently said Mourinho when asked about Ndombele. “Everyone. I don’t give up on players, no player has a privilege, all the same. No problem at all. Every player is part of my plans.”
Prior to his arrival to England, Ndombele made 34 appearances with Amiens and 96 with Lyon. He also played six games with France national team.

]]>Reportedly, Ndombele and Mourinho had an altercation during training on Monday due to the French midfielder’s lack of playing time and criticism he had to endure in recent months. The two continued the exchange in Mourinho’s office, which is when the 23-year-old midfielder made his statement.
ESPN adds that the relationship between Ndombele and Mourinho is beyond repairable. The player is now looking to move away from Tottenham, and his agents are already exploring possible available options.
Tanguy Ndombele was one of the most sought-after players last summer, receiving offers from Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, and Bayern Munich. Ndombele, however, opted to join Tottenham in a transfer worth close to $70 million after being convinced by then-manager Mauricio Pochettino.
While Ndombele was a regular starter under Pochettino, things changed with Jose Mourinho’s arrival to the club. Since then, he was in and out of the starting lineup while Mourinho often criticized his performances.
Ndombele played 27 games in all competitions with Tottenham, scoring two goals and providing four assists.
