For quite some time now, the British Premier League club Tottenham has been trying to score a deal with the Spanish club Real Betis for their midfielder Giovani Lo Celso and they are finally getting closer. There are rumors that the latest acquirement of Nabil Fekir from Lyon will really soften the position of the Spanish club, leading to an agreement between the two sides.

So far, the two clubs have been struggling around the player fee as Betis was asking for around $74 million which was considered too high by the Hotspurs. Now, media like The Sun report that Tottenham will score a deal with the Spaniards for around $55.9 million. The Spanish club will have to split their profits from the acquirement of the young midfielder as they have to pay 20% to the French club PSG. Also, they are giving 3% to Rosario Central as that was Lo Celso’s academy.

The 23-year-old midfielder has already stated that his wish is to join Tottenham besides the fact that other European clubs were interested in acquiring him.
