The 2025 NBA All-Star Game is less than a month away, and we finally know who’ll hit the court. The Lakers superstar LeBron James will take part in the All-Star Game for the record 21st time, and the NBA will shake things up with a brand-new four-team tournament format.

The Los Angeles Lakers’ LeBron James will be one of the players leading the Western Conference, after making his record 21st All-Star selection. He served as the All-Star captain on six different occasions, but this concept was eventually abandoned last year.

In addition to James, the list of the Western Conference starters also includes Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Oklahoma City Thunder), Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors), Nikola Jokić (Denver Nuggets), and Kevin Durant (Phoenix Suns).

As for the Eastern Conference, the Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo earned a spot for his ninth consecutive year. He’ll be joined by Jalen Brunson (New York Knicks), Donovan Mitchell (Cleveland Cavaliers), Karl-Anthony Towns (New York Knicks), and Jayson Tatum (Boston Celtics).

The 2025 NBA All-Star Game will mark another attempt to shake this tournament up. It will embrace a four-team tournament format, consisting of two semi-finals and the championship. Four teams of eight will get to play three games throughout one night, and one of them will consist of the winner of the Rising Stars Challenge.

The 2025 NBA All-Star Game will take place on February 16 at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California.
