Romelu Lukaku is probably one of the hottest transfers of this summer, being the most rumored player in the last few weeks. Many clubs have shown interest in him for quite some time, but the most serious contender so far was the Italian club Inter Milan. Reportedly, the club from Milan have been negotiating for Lukaku for a while, but they weren’t able to score a deal yet. Now, the situation is getting even more thrilling since another serious contender has entered the race.

Sky Sport Italia reports that the Serie A club Juventus also got into the race to sign the Belgian striker. Additionally, a few other Italian newspapers like Tuttosport reported that Juventus is getting into the negotiations process, giving the news even greater credibility. Inter is expected to make a new offer of more than $86 million and some are speculating that Juventus will offer a player to counter this offer, leading to an even more interesting outcome.

Romelu Lukaku is currently 26-years-old and he’s playing in the British Premier League club Manchester United as a striker. He joined the club back in 2017 for a fee of $92.8 million.
