Don’t expect Paul Pogba to remain with Manchester United for too long. According to Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola, the French midfielder is set to leave Old Trafford in the near future.
Pogba has been a subject of transfer speculations for the better part of the summer, but Manchester United decided not to sell him, hoping he could be a part of the team for years to come. The club even triggered an option to extend his contract to keep him until 2022, just before the season started.
However, it looks like Pogba doesn’t share Man Utd’s vision. According to Raiola, he’s unhappy with the club and wants to move on.
“It’s over between Manchester United and Pogba,” Raiola told Tuttosport in a recent interview. “No point beating around the bush, it’s better to speak clearly, look forward, and not waste time looking for people to blame: Paul is unhappy at Manchester United.”
If the Premier League side decides to grant Paul Pogba’s wish, his most likely destination would be La Liga giants Real Madrid, who already showed interest in the player on several previous occasions. Pogba’s return to Juventus is also not out of the question, since the team is looking to add balance to their midfield.
After a strong finish in the 2019-20 season, Pogba has been struggling to make an impact this season. He played only eight games in the Premier League so far and has only one goal to show for it.
