Veteran defensive tackle Damon Harrison isn’t ready to walk away from football just yet. After contemplating retirement for the better part of the year, Harrison reportedly decided to play in 2020 after all.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Harrison is already scheduled to visit Seattle Seahawks next week. Several other teams are interested in the 31-year-old player, including Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears, and Cincinnati Bengals.

Harrison, who has an All-Pro selection from 2016, spent the 2019 season with Detroit Lions. He was under contract with the organization through 2021, but the two sides decided to part ways back in February.

At the time, Harrison said that the multiple injuries he suffered during his career are making him consider his future in football.

“I’ve got a lot of thinking to do this offseason,” said Harrison. “I’m going to seek some different options and try to figure it out because I can’t be that guy that I want to be, and I know I can be then I’ve got to hang it up because everybody deserves that.”

Besides Lions, Damon Harrison spent time with New York Giants and New York Jets during his time in NFL. Harrison played a total of 117 games (111 starts) as a pro, while his career stats include 485 tackles, 11.0 sacks, 10 pass deflections, four forced fumbles, and one interception.
