Amazon has always been generous with their Black Friday deals, but the one coming in 2023 will really be special. The company’s streaming service Prime Video announced that it plans to stream an NFL game on Black Friday for free.

The NFL’s first-ever game on Black Friday will be played on November 24 at 3 p.m. EST. Everyone who wishes to tune in, even fans who don’t have an Amazon Prime membership, will be able to do so, according to the official press release. The teams that will play the inaugural Black Friday NFL game will be revealed at a later date.

“We’re excited to expand our relationship with the NFL and build a new holiday tradition for our customers with the first Black Friday NFL game,” said Jay Marine, vice president of Prime Video and global head of Sports, in a statement.

With the addition of the Black Friday NFL game, Amazon Prime will now have 16 regular seasons game on its 2023 slate. The streaming service will also broadcast one preseason game.

Amazon Prime previously secured the rights for NFL’s Thursday Night Football games starting in 2022. According to the company, an average of 11.3 million viewers tuned in last season.
