The Los Angeles Lakers have managed to win their 4th straight game with a victory over the Pelicans at Staples Center.

Former Pelican Anthony Davis led his team to yet another win over his former club, this time with 123-113. The Lakers won the opening quarter with 42-30, maintaining control over the result until the end. New Orleans fought back in the last quarter, winning it by 18-30 but it was too late to upset the Conference Leaders.

Lebron James and Anthony Davis were the main Lakers strike duo for this match and once again they contributed the most. Davis finished with massive 46 points and 13 rebounds while James had 17 points with 15 assists in 37 minutes. Danny Green played his best match so far by scoring 25 points in 33 minutes.

The two former Lakers players Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram scored the most points in the Pelicans roster, with Ball having 23 and Ingram 22. JJ Redick and Derrick Favors added 14 and 15 points, all too little for an upset in Los Angeles. The Lakers remain on top in the West while New Orleans are on the 14th seed.
