David Beckham’s new-found soccer club Inter Miami is yet to join the Major League Soccer, but some of the world’s best players are already expressing their desire to play in Miami. One of them is France and Atletico Madrid’s star striker Antoine Griezmann.

Griezmann, who expressed a desire to end his soccer career in the United States on several occasions before, recently told L’Equipe that he would be open to the idea of playing for Inter Miami if Beckham would want him at his club.

If he [Beckham] wants me at his club, then I’ll go,” said Griezmann. “I want to finish in the MLS. We will see if that will be in Los Angeles or Miami. They are two nice cities.”

“I like the mentality and the showbusiness culture they have in the U.S.” he added, explaining his intention to come to MLS.

Antoine Griezmann was one of the most sought-after soccer players this summer, thanks to his magnificent performances for both his club and France national team. Barcelona emerged as the biggest favorite to sign him, but the 27-year-old ended up deciding to stay in Madrid and sign a new deal with Atletico until 2023.

Inter Miami, on the other hand, will play its inaugural season in MLS in 2020.
