Veteran wideout Antonio Brown’s spell with the New England Patriots in 2019 only lasted one game. But even this was enough to make a strong impression on the seven-time Pro Bowler.

Browns made a return to Gillette Stadium on Sunday night with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and helped his new team get a 19-17 win by making seven catches for 63 yards. Speaking with reporters after the game, the 33-year-old star was full of praise for the New England organization and even described it as “the best experience” of his life.

“It was the best experience of my life being here,” Brown said. “Bill Belichick [the Pats’ head coach] one of the best coaches, preparing the players on the field and off the field with discipline.”

Brown made a number of other positive comments about Belichick and said it was “amazing” to play for him.

“He’s just so detail-oriented in being able to prepare the players for every situation and making sure you know your opponent as well as he knows,” he added.

Antonio Brown spent less than two weeks with the Patriots, being cut by the franchise for his problematic off-the-field behavior. Brown only suited up for New England in a 43–0 win over the Miami Dolphins and made four catches for 56 yards and a touchdown.
