Wide receiver Kevin White, former seventh overall pick in 2015, will have to find another place to try to resurrect his career.  White was released by Arizona Cardinals on Wednesday and will now have to look for another job in NFL.

White signed with the Cardinals on a one-year deal in March but missed a better part of the training camp and team’s offseason activities due to a hamstring injury. Although he returned to practice in recent days, Arizona still decided to move on from him and sign veteran Michael Crabtree instead.

After a standout college career at West Virginia, Kevin White entered the 2015 NFL Draft as one of two best wide receivers in the class. WR-needy Chicago Bears took White with the seventh overall pick, intending to build their offense around him. This plan, however, never came to fruition, as White spent the majority of his time with the organization at the sidelines.

Due to various injuries, White was limited to playing just 14 games during his four years with the Bears. During that time he had 48 receptions for 285 yards. He is still waiting to catch his first touchdown as a pro.
