It isn’t a secret that La Liga giants Barcelona are looking to sell a number of their players in an attempt to collect funds for their summer transfer plans. One of them is Brazilian midfielder Arthur Melo, who is set for exit despite recently saying that he isn’t interested in playing for any other club.

According to reports, Barca has made Melo available in transfer talks, putting a $65 million price tag on him. The club is also willing to include him in player-exchange deals, most notably for Inter’s Lautaro Martinez and PSG’s Neymar.

However, Melo isn’t keen on making a move from Spain.

“There is always speculation but my idea is clear,” said Melo in a statement released on Wednesday. “The only option that interests me is staying at Barcelona.”

Melo, who scored three goals in 16 La Liga games this season, is reportedly attracting interest from Premier League’s Tottenham and Seria A giants Juventus.

“The supposed interest of big clubs is always flattering and a positive sign, but my mind is on playing for Barcelona for many years. This is where I have always wanted to be,” the 23-year-old Brazil international added.

Sources close to Barca have told ESPN that the club is making most of their roster available in an attempt to land Neymar and Martinez, among other targets. The only safe players are believed to be Lionel Messi, Frenkie De Jong, and Marc-André ter Stegen.
