After a slow start against Antonio Conte’s Inter Milan side on Wednesday night at Camp Nou, Barcelona rode a Luis Suarez brace to an important comeback win and three important points in Group F of Champions League play.

Inter took an early 0-1 lead after a surprising Lautaro Martinez goal in only the third minute of the game. The 22-year-old Argentinian forward scored an early goal after beating defender Clement Lenglet and keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen to make the Cules nervous early.

The Italian side played a brilliant first half, creating a multitude of goal-scoring opportunities and keeping Barcelona from threatening, largely. Unfortunately for them, they were unable to pad their lead before things changed in the second half.

Luis Suarez drew Barcelona level after scoring a brilliant volleyed goal in the 58th minute. A pass from Arturo Vidal went to the Uruguayan striker, who buried a strong shot in the corner of the net.

Suarez wasn’t done, however. Leo Messi opened up play in the 84th minute, breaking down Inter’s defense and getting past several defenders to find an open Suarez in the box, who scored yet again to give Barcelona a lead that they wouldn’t relinquish.

The win gives Barcelona four points in Group F, enough to tie them with Borussia Dortmund, and a shot of needed confidence after a slow start to the year.
