La Liga powerhouse Barcelona is ready to cash in on some of its young stars as the club continues to work on improving its finances. According to a report from Football Insider, Barca is open to selling highly-rated winger Ansu Fati in the summer if a bid of around $110 million comes their way.

Fati has been on the radar of multiple big European clubs, with Manchester City being considered his most likely destination if he is on the move. City’s cross-town rivals Manchester United and Chelsea are also monitoring the situation and might swoop in if the opportunity arises.

Besides needing the money, Barca could be looking to sell Fati because he isn’t playing much this season. After dealing with injuries in previous seasons, the 20-year-old Spanish international has struggled to get playing time in 2022-23. He made 26 appearances in La Liga, but the majority of them came as a substitute.

The report about Fati’s availability comes after Barcelona’s vice president Rafa Yuste said that he couldn’t guarantee the player will remain with the club.

“I can’t guarantee that Ansu Fati will 100% stay because it doesn’t depend on me – but I can tell you that Xavi trusts him,” said Yuste. “I told Ansu that he has to decide his own future. I never want our Masia talents to leave Barça”.
