This summer, the Bundesliga didn’t surprise the fans with really big transfers – at least not as much as the other European leagues. But now, the teams are starting to bid on the transfers of many young and talented players. Reportedly, the newest target of Bayern Munich is the young winger Brais Mendez, currently playing in Spain for the La Liga club Celta Vigo. Media in Spain are quoting the German journalist Christian Falk, who first wrote about the possible move by Bayern.

The media reported that the Germans may be signing the 22-year-old winger for a fee of around $28 million, but that is still to be confirmed. Mendez joined Celta Vigo back in 2017/18 season and he has a contract with the club that lasts until 2021, which means that if Bayern wants to acquire the player, they will have to pay his release clause.

The young player is expected to have a great career ahead of him, showing great skills and versatility in his play. Additionally, claims of minor financial difficulties within the Spanish club continually strengthen the possibility of a sale.
