The Los Angeles Dodgers took a 2-0 lead in the National League Division Series in dramatic fashion, and with some tension between them and the San Diego Padres thrown in for good measure.

The scene that this game will be remembered by occurred at the top of the seventh inning when the Dodgers were leading 4-3 and Padres slugger Fernando Tatis Jr. was up to bat with a runner on base and two outs.

Tatis launched a ball deep to center field and it looked as if it was going to be a go-ahead two-run homer. And maybe it might have been if Cody Bellinger wasn’t playing center field for the Dodgers. Bellinger leaped over the wall and made an incredibly athletic grab, keeping the ball in the park and securing the win for the Dodgers.

In celebration, Dodgers reliever Brusdar Graterol threw his hat and glove off the mound, pointing to the empty stands, probably out of habit.

Padres leader Manny Machado, who was on deck at the time, didn’t appreciate Graterol’s celebration and yelled some things at him, after which the Dodgers dugout joined the yelling match.

Things got quiet afterward and the Dodgers were able to maintain the lead for another two innings to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five series.
