The Cleveland Browns have emerged as a road playoff favorite for the first time in their history. This is also the first time since 1994 that the Browns have been viewed as a favorite both at home and on the road.

Heading to their first playoff game since 2020, the Browns previously suffered a 17-season playoff drought, failing to secure a playoff berth from 2003 until 2019. Alongside the Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Houston Texans, the Browns are one of four NFL teams to never make it to a Super Bowl.

“History, to us, doesn’t play a part in line making. We concentrate on the two teams, the way they are built and the way they are playing today,” DraftKings’ director of race and sports operations Johnny Avello explained. This season, however, the Browns have been a force to be reckoned with, finishing second in the AFC North with an 11-6 record.
