Cleveland Browns will be without their star pass rusher Myles Garrett for at least one more game. According to Browns’ head coach Kevin Stefanski, Garrett will remain on the COVID-19 list this week, which rules him out for Sunday’s contest against Jacksonville Jaguars.

Garrett self-isolated from the rest of the team on Wednesday, when he first felt the symptoms of the virus. He was placed on the COVID-19 list on Friday, which resulted in him missing the game against Philadelphia Eagles.

In order for a player to re-join the team after being placed on the COVID-19 list, he has to be at least 10 days removed from his first symptoms and be free for them for 24 hours. It seems like Garrett is not close to honoring these rules and Cleveland now has to find other ways to get to the opposing quarterback.

Garrett, who was Brown’s No. 1 pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, was in the process of having a career season in 2020 before landing on the list. The 24-year-old is currently tied with LA Rams’ Aaron Donald as the NFL’s leader in sacks with 9.5 while also producing 14 QB hits, 31 tackles, and three forced fumbles.

Luckily for the Browns, they are facing the Jags, who are one of the worst teams in the NFL this year. Jacksonville has just one win in 10 games in 2020, while Cleveland sits comfortably on a 7-3 record.
