Cleveland Browns might join the increasing number of NFL teams that traded their star receivers this offseason. According to Fox Sports’ Colin Cowherd, Browns’ wideout Odell Beckham Jr. is mentioned in trade talks with Minnesota Vikings emerging as one of the possible destinations.

Cowherd reports that a reputable source close to the situation told him that Beckham is uneasy about all the trade talk that surrounded him in recent months and now wants out of Cleveland. The 27-year-old would reportedly want to land with the Vikings, who are ready to offer a second round and a fifth-round pick in order to get him.

The rumors about Browns trading Odell Beckham started circling late last year, fueled by the team’s bad performances and him being unsatisfied with his role on the team. Beckham and the Browns both denied the reports, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if Cleveland entertained the idea at some point.

The Minnesota link would make sense, as the Vikings recently parted way with their talented WR Stefon Diggs, who was sent to Buffalo Bills. But the team would most likely have to step up their offer if they are hoping to land Beckham.

Browns acquired Beckham in 2019, sending a first-round pick to the Giants. He played all 16 games last season, catching 74 passes for 1,035 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
