Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling revealed that his teammates are struggling to understand why they are unable to find form this season. He maintains his belief that the Blues can change their fortunes under the guidance of the right manager.

“We are disappointed when we come off the pitch and feel angry and disappointed,” Sterling stated in a newspaper interview. “There are times when we finish a game you just sit in the changing room looking into space because you can’t understand what has just happened. It’s tough to take. You are always trying to look for a positive solution. There will be conversations, players trying to come to terms with what has happened in the last ten minutes or so. It’s not easy.”

Following their 2-0 loss to Brentford last Wednesday, Chelsea is now in 11th position in the Premier League, possibly heading to their worst season since 1993-94 when they finished 14th under Glenn Hoddle.

The Blues’ inconsistent form comes despite the club’s owners’ major investments in the club, including signings such as Enzo Fernandez, Wesley Fofana, Mykhaylo Mudryk, Marc Cucurella, and Sterling himself, who arrived from Man City in July.
