The AFC and NFC now know two of the four teams that will play for a chance to play in the Super Bow.

In the AFC, the Kansas City Chiefs dominated the Indianapolis Colts to move on to the conference championship game.

The Chiefs won Saturday’s game in Kansas City by a 31-13 final score. Star quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw for 278 yards, while unheralded running back Damien Williams rushed for 129 yards and a touchdown.

The Colts were ineffective offensively against the stingy Kansas City defense. The Chiefs will play the winners of Sunday’s Patriots-Chargers matchup for the chance to play in the Super Bowl.

In Saturday’s nightcap, the Rams defeated the Cowboys 30-22 to win a place in the NFC Championship Game.

Los Angeles won comfortably despite a late Cowboys TD which drew them to within a score. CJ Anderson was the star of the night, running for 123 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Rams kept Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott bottled up, as he only ran for 47 yards.

The Rams await the winner of Sunday’s Eagles-Saints clash in the NFC Championship Game, which will take place along with the AFC Championship Game next Sunday.
