LA Clippers coach Ty Lue confirmed that his team will be without key players Kawhi Leonard and Paul George for their home game against the Denver Nuggets on Friday. The pair were also absent from the Clippers’ 107-124 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night.

For George, the Warriors’ defeat was the second straight game that he missed out on since straining a right hamstring tendon. He picked up the injury during the first half of the Clippers’ 97-119 victory over the San Antonio Spurs last Saturday.

Leonard was injured during the Clippers’ 114-121 victory over the Utah Jazz on Monday. He rolled his ankle late in the fourth quarter after he attempted to block a shot and landed badly.

According to a report released by ESPN, both George and Leonard have been working out and the pair underwent treatment for their respective injuries in Los Angles on Wednesday. Leonard is expected to be reevaluated in the next few days.
