The Los Angeles Clippers took down the Dallas Mavericks 111-97 in Game 6 of their first-round playoff series, sending Luka Doncic and the Mavericks packing with a 4-2 series victory.

To no one’s surprise, the Clippers were led by 2019 NBA Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard, who scored 33 points, grabbed 14 rebounds, dished out seven assists, and added five steals.

The Clippers are advancing to the Western Conference Semifinals for the first time since 2015.

Leonard did get help from his role players, however. Ivica Zubac had 15 points and 11 rebounds and Paul George had 15 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists.

The Clippers led for most of the game, and despite Marcus Morris getting ejected in the first quarter for a flagrant foul, they never let the Mavericks steal their momentum. LA built a 23-point lead in the third quarter, and even though the Mavs were able to get it down to 10 points in the fourth, it really never was that close.

Dallas was led once again by star Luka Doncic, who had 28 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists.

Los Angeles will face the winner of the Denver Nuggets-Utah Jazz series, which is currently tied at 3-3.
