Dallas Cowboys’ rookie wideout CeeDee Lamb still hasn’t had his first practice in the NFL. Yet, this isn’t stopping the former Oklahoma Sooner from setting up some big goals for his professional career.

Lamb, who was Cowboys’ 17th overall pick in 2020 NFL Draft, recently told Fort Worth Star-Telegram that his main career goal is to end up in the Hall of Fame.

“Be a Hall of Famer,” Lamb told the outlet when asked to share some of the objectives he wants to achieve in the NFL. “Have as much of an impact or more that Michael [Irvin] had on the game and on America’s Team. I want to be on a team that makes unbelievable memories together. I feel like that is what we are going to do here.”

Lamb already started working on his goal to follow Michael Irvin’s footsteps by taking the No.88 jersey that was previously worn by Irvin and some other great Cowboys’ receivers. Now all he has to do is to win three Super Bowl rings, several Pro Bowl and All-Pro honors, and he’ll be in the neighborhood of achieving his goal.

CeeDee Lamb certainly has the tools to make a significant impact in the league, as he was considered one of the best prospects in this year’s draft class. Lamb entered the draft after he played three seasons of college football at Oklahoma, during which he posted some spectacular numbers. He finished his college career with 173 catches for 3,292 yards and 40 touchdowns.
