Cristiano Ronaldo, arguably the best player in soccer history, might be on the move in the summer. Influential Spanish media outlet AS reports that Ronaldo has been made available by the Seria A giants and would cost just around $30 million.

After dominating Italy for the past decade, Juve has been going through a rough period in 2020/21 and they currently sit 10 points behind leaders Inter Milan. This coupled with the club’s decision ahead of the season to go younger and install an inexperienced manager in Andrea Pirlo, is believed to be driving Ronaldo’s exit.

The reason why Juve placed such a low price tag on Ronaldo is his massive wage. The Portuguese star earns close to $40 million annually and clearing him off their books would greatly benefit the Italian club. Also, the 36-year-old player will be a free agent in the summer of 2022, which means he could walk away for free.

Ronaldo is believed to be open to the idea of leaving as well. Sources say that the player regrets his decision to leave Real Madrid in 2018 and would like to return to Spain.

During his two and a half-season with Juventus, Cristiano Ronaldo maintained his goalscoring tear and trophy-winning habits. He helped the club win two Seria A titles and two Supercoppa Italiana while netting 95 goals in just 123 games. In this season alone, Ronaldo has 30 goals from 34 contests.
