Damian Lillard continues to prove to the NBA world why he’s one of the most dominant guards in the game. In the final seconds of the game against the Golden State Warriors, Dame Dolla sunk a clutch three-pointer to seal the victory 108-106.

To make the moment even more sweet, Lillard did it in the eye of Steph Curry himself. Curry, considered by most to be the greatest three-point shooter of all time, would be able to appreciate it of all people.

However, this was merely the end of a long night of tension and drama. The Portland Trailblazers actually started the game slowly, allowing Steph to knock down his first three three-pointers and leading Golden State to an early lead.

They were defending Lillard the entire game like there was no tomorrow, forcing other Portland players to prove themselves. How ironic, it seems, that it was Lillard who ended up sealing the victory regardless.

Even though the Warriors were guarding him like white on rice, Lillard still managed to finish the night with 22 points and six assists. Longtime NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony contributed for the Blazers with 22 points of his own.

On the Warriors’ end, Curry rained down 35 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. But his amazing performance wasn’t enough to close out Dame and his Blazers.
