Five days after he was traded to the Houston Texans, Demaryius Thomas returned to Denver, made three catches for his new team, helped beat his old team 19-17 and threw shed at them.

“That’s what they do over there,” Thomas said of Texans questionable last-minute decisions. “I ain’t part of that no more. We like to win over here.”

The 30-year-old also made another quote, while not directed at the Broncos, threw shade at them.

“I kind of messed up on two plays and the quarterback was looking at me,” Thomas said. “The good thing is they don’t blame over here, which is good.”

The Broncos made a series of questionable decisions in the last minutes of the game and a few players reacted to it.

“Yeah, I was surprised, absolutely,” safety Tyrann Mathieu said “I remember the game we played against Tom Brady (the season opener loss against the Patriots) there was sort of a similar situation where he was playing for the field goal, and he threw deep out. We were hoping that Keenum didn’t start thinking like Tom Brady.”

Linebacker Jadeveon Clown said,

“They had 25 seconds on the clock and they thought, ‘We’ve got it, and let the clock run down. I was like, ‘let it run!”

The Broncos are 3-6, which leaves Coach Vance Joseph in deep trouble especially after the poor decisions on Sunday.
