Six months after the controversial draw in Los Angeles during which Fury, 30, survived two knockdowns, the world heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder announced that he will face Fury again to the general pleasure of their fans all around the world.

Wilder said that he signed an agreement to have a rematch with Tyson Fury after he has fought the Cuban star, Luis Ortiz. “It’s officially on”, tweeted the American champion.

Wilder, who is currently 33 years old, tweeted that he agreed to fight Ortiz once again in a match that will probably occur in September 2019. He also said that he is by no means looking past Ortiz, noting that the latter is a dangerous fighter and that he is looking forward to facing Ortiz in the ring again after he defeated him last year in March with a 10th round stoppage.

Tyson Fury will face the German fighter Tom Schwarz in Las Vegas in what will be his first fight after he teamed up with the US broadcaster ESPN. The only problem is that the two fighters are operating with different broadcasters in the US which will complicate the arrangements around the match.
