Veteran wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has a new team. The three-time Pro Bowler reportedly agreed to a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Beckham’s deal can max out at $8.25 million. He was reportedly offered more money by other teams but preferred the Dolphins because he believed they were a better fit.

After sitting out the entire 2022 campaign due to an ACL injury he suffered in Super Bowl LVI, Beckham signed with the Baltimore Ravens. He played 14 games in which he had 35 catches for 565 yards and three touchdowns while averaging career high in yards per catch (16.1).

Beckham previously also played with the New York Giants, Cleveland Browns, and the Los Angeles Rams. He has 566 career receptions for 7,932 yards and 59 touchdowns.

Miami has superstar Tyreek Hill and standout Jaylen Waddle as their top receiving options, but the depth chart is less clear after that. Beckham is expected to be in contention for the No. 3 wideout role and should easily secure it if healthy. Dolphins’ wide receiver corps also includes return specialists Braxton Berrios and River Cracraft, 2022’s fourth-round pick Erik Ezukanma, and rookies Tahj Washington and Malik Washington.
