Most NFL players would like to keep playing professional football as long as possible, but Miami Dolphins’ star wideout Tyreek Hill? Not so much.

Hill recently had a chat with Kansas City’s Sports Radio 810 and revealed his intention to retire from the league once his current contract with the Dolphins expires. The 29-year-old player explained that he wants to complete 10 seasons in the pros and then focus on some other things in life after that.

“I’m going for 10 [seasons], man,” Hill said. “I’m going to finish out this contract with the Dolphins, and then I’m going to call it quits. I want to go into the business side. I want to do so many things in my life, bro.”

Hill has three years left on the four-year, $120 million extension he signed with the Miami Dolphins last offseason. This means that he plans to walk away after the 2025 NFL season.

The Pro Bowler added that his future plans include getting involved in the video games industry and creating a gaming team.

“So I really want to get into, like, the gaming space,” Hill explained. “I really want to get huge in that, and that’s kind of what I’m doing right now.”

Hill played all 17 games in 2022 for the Dolphins, finishing the campaign with 119 receptions, 1,710 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns. He was named into the First-team All-Pro for the fourth time in his career while earning his seventh Pro Bowl nod.
