After being absent from the United States men’s national team in September due to an injury, Borussia Dortmund’s winger Christian Pulisic supposed to be part of U.S. roster for upcoming friendlies against Colombia and Peru later this month.

Unfortunately, that might happen after all, since Pulisic suffered another injury and will be out indefinitely according to Dortmund’s official website.

“Borussia Dortmund will be without Christian Pulisic in their Champions League match against AS Monaco – and undoubtedly for their Bundesliga home game against FC Augsburg on Saturday. The winger is sidelined with torn calf fibers.” – said Bundesliga giants in a brief press release.

USMNT’s friendlies against Colombia and Peru are set for October 11 and 16.
Christian Pulisic was forced to miss time in September due to a muscle injury and wasn’t part of the U.S. team that faced Brazil and Mexico. The 20-year-old played only one game with USMNT this year, making an appearance in a 3-0 win over Bolivia in May.

Pulisic made a total of six appearances for Borussia Dortmund this season, showing that this could be the season when he could finally become a regular starter for the team. He also scored two goals, one in Bundesliga and one in Champions League match against Club Brugge.
