Retired boxing champion Floyd Mayweather is feeling the itch to get into the ring again. According to multiple reports, Mayweather, who is undefeated with a 50-0 record, is going to fight YouTube star and amateur boxer Logan Paul this year.

Reportedly, Mayweather approached Paul with the suggestion for an exhibition match later this year, and both sides are willing to make the fight happen. However, the official deal is still to be made.

The news also spread through the boxing community, with WBC Silver lightweight belt holder Ryan Garcia offering his prediction on social media.

Floyd Mayweather officially retired in 2015 but has since returned to the ring twice. The first time was the official fight against UFC star Conor McGregor in 2017, which Mayweather won with TKO in the 10th round. He then faced undefeated kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in an exhibition match in 2018, closing down the fight in the first round with a TKO win.

Logan Paul, on the other hand, is best known for his hugely popular YouTube channel on which he records vlogs, sketches, and various other content. Paul has two boxing matches in his “career,” both against his fellow-YouTuber KSI.
