The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are continuing to do everything they can to give quarterback Tom Brady all of the weapons he needs to make the team a Super Bowl contender.

Just a month after getting six-time Pro Bowl running back LeSean McCoy to join the backfield, the Bucs are expected to sign former Jacksonville Jaguars first-round pick Leonard Fournette.

According to sources, the contract will be a one-year deal worth up to $3.5 million with incentives.

Fournette was waived on Monday by the Jaguars, who are clearly in the midst of a top-to-bottom rebuild. Fournette was the fourth overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft and is coming off his best year statistically. In 2019, he ran for 1,152 yards and caught 76 passes for 522 yards receiving while scoring three touchdowns.

The Buccaneers moved on from quarterback Jameis Winston this offseason, opting to sign the legendary Tom Brady, who has won six Super Bowls with the New England Patriots.

Now 43-years-old, Brady might not have many years left, which is why Tampa Bay is doing everything it can to load the team up with offensive weapons in hopes that Brady can lead them to the promised land and add another Super Bowl to his already unrivaled resume.
