Galatasaray Signs Emre Mor On Loan From Celta Vigo

The hottest days of the summer bring the final changes and transfers in European football teams before the start of the season in the middle of August. The latest news comes from Spanish La Liga club Celta Vigo, which has reached an agreement with the Turkish club Galatasaray to loan their star winger Emre Mor for the next year.  

The one-year loan will come at a price of $665,000 which will be paid to Celta Vigo. Additionally, the Istanbul club will pay Emre Mor a season salary of $804,000. The contract signed by the two clubs has a special clause that will give Galatasaray the opportunity to buy Mor after the loan ends, for a fee of $8.8 million. 

The 22-year-old winger said that playing for Galatasaray has been a dream of his for a long time and that it finally became a reality. He also said that he had a good relationship with the club’s coach Fatih Terim. Back in 2015, he made his professional debut playing for the Danish club Nordsjaelland from where he joined Borussia Dortmund a year later. Celta Vigo acquired him in 2017 for a $14.4 million fee which is a club record.
