Roma Midfielder Javier Pastore may be moving to MLS according to Sky Sports Italia. The Argentinian is interested in playing with MLS and LA Galaxy and Seattle Sounders have been identified as potential interests.

In Seris A team Roma, Pastore struggled to get on the field this season due to poor form and injuries, playing only nine games. During his two seasons with the club, he only played 30 games and scored four goals. He still remains one of the club’s top earners, but Roma is ready to move on from Pastore and hopes to sell him this summer.

Sky Sports Italia reports that staying in Europe is an option for the 31-year-old player, but that he prefers MLS to help him revive his career.

The majority of his career was spent with Paris Saint-Germain between 2011 and 2018. Pastore made 269 appearances and scored 45 goals during his time with the club. He joined Roma in 2018 in a transfer worth close to $30 million after losing his place in PSG’s starting lineup.
