Everything points that Welsh star forward Gareth Bale will be leaving Real Madrid this summer. However, the player’s agent Jonathan Barnett ruled out these reports in a recent chat with BBC.

Bale was close to making a transfer last summer but ended up remaining at Santiago Bernabeu. He was in and out of the starting lineup for the better part of the 2019/20, before being dropped out entirely by manager Zinedine Zidane during the final stretch of La Liga season.

Still, according to Barnett, Bale doesn’t plan on leaving the club despite everything.

“Gareth is fine. He has two years left on his contract,” said Barnett. “He likes living in Madrid, and he is going nowhere.”

“It’s a great loss that he’s not in the Real Madrid team at the moment, but he will not leave.”

Reports surfaced in recent weeks that Bale could also go on a loan, but Barnett ruled out such a scenario.

“Gareth is one of the best players in the world. The best players in the world do not go out on loan,” he added.

Gareth Bale made only 16 appearances in La Liga this season while playing four more games in other competitions. When he was on the field, Bale struggled to make an impact, contributing with just three goals and three assists.

Still, there is a significant interest in Bale’s services from all around the world. The clubs from China are willing to give him a record-breaking salary to lure him to Asia, while several European clubs are also monitoring his availability. These options include a return to Tottenham or going to Italy, where Juventus and Inter Milan would like to sign him.
