The Singapore GP is one of the hardest and most demanding races of the entire autumn season in F1. As always, this weekend’s race didn’t disappoint the millions of F1 fans around the globe – they had an opportunity to watch a truly nerve-wracking struggle for the Singapore Grand Prix.

The race finished with a pretty unexpected victor – even though Hamilton and Verstappen were the favorites, Sebastian Vettel managed to raise the trophy for the 5th time on the Marina Bay Street Circuit. He took advantage of the new Ferrari tactics to overtake his teammate, which Leclerc said was ‘unfair.’

Vettel finished the race in first place with 1:58:33.667, Leclerc followed after him with +2.641s, and Verstappen driving for Red Bull finished third with +3.821s. The current champion Hamilton finished in fourth place with his teammate from Mercedes following in the fifth.

32-year-old Sebastian Vettel had a pretty bad season which jeopardized his place in the Ferrari team. Up until this race, Vettel hadn’t won a race for 13 straight months since he won the Belgian GP in August 2018.  In addition, this was the first time Ferrari won the first and the second place in almost 2 years.
