With the transfer window closing fast, soccer clubs all around Europe are rushing to get their final reinforcements and prepare for the season which will be starting soon. The latest news comes from Paris where Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye has been spotted.

The 29-year-old player arrived in Paris to undergo medicals before signing with the French club Paris Saint Germain after a period of negotiations. Gueye will be joining the French champions on a four-year contract and the deal will come at a fee of $36.6 million. This was their second attempt in signing the Everton player after their first bid of $31.7 million back in January was rejected.

The British club prepared for Gueye’s move by signing of Fabien Delph and Andre Gomes earlier this summer.

Gueye started his professional career in the Senegalese club Diambars. He was acquired by Lille in 2008. From there, he joined the British club Aston Villa for a fee of $10.9 million where he stayed only for a year and was eventually acquired by Everton in 2016. During his club career, he has appeared in 377 matches and scored 13 goals.
