Even though Bayern Munich had a pretty passive summer transfer season, they are now using the last days of the transfer window to bring a new reinforcement to their team. The Bundesliga club managed to land a deal with the Italian Serie A club Inter Milan which will bring their winger Ivan Perisic to Allianz Arena.
The 30-year-old Perisic will be arriving in Munich on loan from Inter, but the contract will include a special clause that will give Bayern the option to buy the player when the loan deal expires in the summer of 2020. With this latest addition, the Germans are gearing up for another successful season in the German Championship, but also in the Champions League.
Perisic said that he was very glad to be back in Germany and that Bayern was one of the biggest clubs in Europe. He has a really long and successful career behind him, starting his journey in professional football back in 2007 when he joined the French club Sochaux. He has spent a significant part of his career in Germany playing in the Bundesliga for the clubs Borussia Dortmund and VfL Wolfsburg.
