Quarterback turned wide receiver Terrelle Pryor split 2018 between New York Jets and Buffalo Bills but failed to make a significant impact with either of the two teams. Still, this didn’t stop Jacksonville Jaguars to jump on the opportunity to add Pryor to their roster for the upcoming season.

According to NFL Network, Pryor worked out for the Jags earlier in the week and made a strong impression, which prompted the team to give him a 1-year deal. The financial terms of the deal, however, remain unknown.

Pryor finished last season with only 16 catches for 252 yards and two touchdowns.

Terrelle Pryor played college football at Ohio State as a quarterback and was drafted into the NFL by Oakland Raiders in the third round of the 2011 Supplemental Draft. During his three years with the Raiders, Pryor played 15 games at the QB position, completing 57.4 percent of his passes for 1,983 yards.

After unsuccessful stints with several NFL teams, including Kansas City Chiefs, Pryor signed with the Cleveland Browns in 2015 where he decided to make a transition to being a wideout. While his first season as a WR was a mess, he bounced back in 2016 and caught 77 passes for 1,007 yards and four TDs.

Pryor left Cleveland as a free agent after this breakthrough season but struggled to find the same success with other teams. He now hopes to get his career back on track with Jacksonville, where he will be catching passes from Super Bowl LI MVP Nick Foles.
